In the press, in our early years...

Siiri Morley, US Peace Corps Volunteer working with the Elelloang Basali Weavers in Lesotho, has been invited to speak at the 3rd International Conference on Information Technology and Economic Development, to be held in Ghana in March 2004. She will be presenting a paper titled "Africancraft.com Generating Pride and Publicity for Africa's Artisans: A Case Study of Mohair Weavers in Lesotho". We are very grateful to Siiri, and wish to thank her, for the invaluable job she has done in assisting the Elelloang women in marketing their weavings, and for the outstanding job she is doing now in recounting the benefits the weavers have achieved through their exposure on AfricanCraft.com.
